Parkland pumpkin patch (5-7:30 p.m.)
The city’s pumpkin patch at the Parkland Equestrian Center will be open until Thursday, offering locals an opportunity to stroll through the patch, find the perfect pumpkin, enjoy a petting zoo and capture memories at fall-themed photo zones.
The pumpkin patch is cash only, according to the event’s website. Each sale helps support the Parkland 17 Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a public memorial to honor the people killed in the Parkland mass shooting in 2018.
Monday
AARP safe driving class (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Driver Course helps drivers 50 and over develop safety habits, refine basic motor skills and improve reaction times. Attendees can also learn new driving techniques to help keep them and their loved ones safe on the road.
Certificates showing completion of the six-hour course can be given to auto insurance companies for a cost reduction, good for three years. The course is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. Learn more and register on the city’s website.

Free college financial aid workshop (4:30-5:30 p.m.)
This online seminar from the Broward County Public Library aims to help students and caregivers learn how to apply for federal, state and school-based financial aid. Learn more and register on the library events website.
Wednesday
Trade Winds Park evening walk (6-7:30 p.m.)
Join Get Out There Adventures for a group walk near Butterfly World to make new friends or just unwind from a long day. Organizers recommend bringing comfortable shoes and a water bottle. Sign up via Meetup.
Thursday
Bilingual family yoga (11-11:40 a.m.)
Head to the Northwest Regional Library with your yoga mats and water for this free class, sponsored by One Beautiful World.
Jazz in the galleries (7-8:30 p.m.)
Explore the Coral Springs Museum of Art while listening to performances from the world-class Gold Coast Jazz Society. Tickets are $10 per person, or free for members. Read more on Facebook or the museum’s website.
Visitors will also get the chance to view the museum’s newest exhibit, “Transitions.”
All-arts open mic at Tulum Prime (7 p.m.)
Aspiring comedians, poets, musicians, magicians and live entertainment lovers are invited to Tulum Prime Tequila Lounge and Restaurant for their weekly open mic night.
