Holiday fun awaits with these Coral Springs happenings. Here are details
The City of Coral Springs kicks off its annual holiday festivities with lights, giveaways and fun activities for all during the first week of December.
Here’s what’s coming up:
Light Up the Lawn
The holiday season officially begins with a celebration on the City Hall lawn from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Festivities include a tree lighting ceremony, photo booth, a stuffed animal giveaway and free cookies.
Plus, Coral Springs residents can register for a free train ride as early as Dec. 1.
There will not be an ice skating rink this year, according to the city’s events page.
The event is dog-friendly, but pets must be leashed and curbed.

Holiday Parade
This year’s theme is “Parade of Cultures,” meant to highlight the many ways Coral Springs residents — and those around the world — celebrate the holidays.
Last year’s celebration included a police motorcade performance, pipe and drum corps and school marching bands, plus appearances from elected officials and the NHL’s Florida Panthers.
The parade will take place along Sample Road from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
