Things to do, ideas for getting out of the house in Coral Springs Christmas week
The week of Christmas is one of the slowest of the year in terms of events happening outside the home, so we’re bringing you a slightly different events list — featuring not only single-day opportunities, but other ideas to get out and about in the Coral Springs community.
From moving your body to Christmas pottery painting, here some ideas to keep you busy this week.
Multiple days
Enjoy festive light shows at various locations across the city
In addition to the City of Coral Springs’ annual interactive light show, 21 homes have been selected to be on this year’s Deck the Halls map. Each one was chosen for its uniqueness and creativity, showcasing how families celebrate the holidays.
Visit the Coral Springs Museum of Art
Check out the local art museum’s two exhibitions currently on display, all from local artists and artisans. Both examine themes of identity, perception and change, offering viewers an opportunity to pause and reflect on the year that has passed and the one ahead.
The museum is closed on Monday, Dec. 22, and on Wednesday for Christmas. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. all other days, according to its website.
