Find your new favorite food and entertainment this weekend as both fresh and classic take the stage, closing the final full weekend of January with fun for all ages.

Whether you’re into sports, trading cards, karaoke or just want to try a new craft, there’s something for everyone this weekend in and around Coral Springs.

Here’s what’s happening from Friday, Jan. 23, to Sunday, Jan. 25:

Friday

Coffeehouse karaoke with MSD Drama (5 to 9 p.m.)

Join Coral Springs and Parkland’s talented performers for a night of karaoke, laughter and community connection at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Entry costs $5 per person. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the drama club. Learn more on their website.

Reggae Beets food truck (4 to 8 p.m.)

Tamarac Food Truck Friday (5 to 9 p.m.)

Tamarac’s Food Truck Fridays are back with games, music and a wide variety of food trucks to choose from, all located at the city’s ampitheater. View the flyer online.

Saturday

Whiffle Blast 2026 (8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

Pine Trails Park in Parkland will host 30 teams as they compete for the Wiffle ball championship — with all proceeds benefiting children battling cancer and other medical emergencies. Learn more or register as a team on the Whiffle Blast 2026 webpage.

NewBreed Jiu Jitsu competition (9 a.m.)

Whether you’re a seasoned grappler, stepping onto the mats for the first time or just enjoying the matches, Coral Springs’ annual New Year jiu jitsu competition is back at the Coral Springs gymnasium. Learn more and register on NewBreed’s SmoothComp page or Facebook.

Coconut Creek Car Show (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Head to Coconut Creek’s community center to see some of the region’s finest vehicles while enjoying live music and fresh food. Plus, the first 250 kids to visit the Coconut Creek Police Department tent get a free toy car. This is a free event. Learn more on the car show website.

Coral Springs Card Show (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
