Harmony Indian Cuisine expected to open in Coral Springs in the new year
A new modern Indian restaurant is set to open in Coral Springs in the coming months, an owner confirmed.
The owners of the upcoming restaurant, Harmony Indian Cuisine, are originally from Kerala, India, and met through their Coral Springs church, Our Lady of Health Catholic Church Syro Malabar Rite, co-owner Richard Joseph told the Coral Springs News. The restaurant isn’t affiliated with the church.
The restaurant will open at the intersection of University Drive and Ramblewood Drive at 1142 N. University Drive near the Coral Square Mall.
The owners have obtained all the permits and are just doing “final add-ons,” Joseph said Dec. 3. He described the ambience and plating as modern and the food as traditional with “authentic” spice.
While the full menu hasn’t been released yet, the restaurant is planning to serve non-alcoholic drinks as well as cocktails, a variety of vegan options, Indian street food, and dishes such as roasted coconut curry and lamb chop masala.
A Facebook post Dec. 2 said the restaurant was coming soon. They’re aiming to open in January, Joseph said.
