Hundreds descended on dowtown Naples for the annual 4th of July Parade.

Floats, musicians and others moved along a new parade route that began near the intersection of Third Street South and Fifth Avenue South.

The parade was special this year because of America 250, the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. The Naples event was just one of thousands planned throughout the holiday weekend.
