A longtime healthcare clinic service in Coral Springs faces foreclosure after records show its owner failed to make its small business loan payments.

Walking Urgent Care will go up for auction in February after the business, as well as affiliated Green Health Consulting and owner Dr. Naseh Nawabi, lost a $3.6 million judgment across three loans to mortgage lender Newtek One.

The urgent care and walk-in clinic, located at 10300-10308 W. Sample Road, has been family-owned and operated since 1984, according to its website.

Nawabi took over in 2015, but records indicate that he stopped making payments in October 2024.

His attorney, Joe Grant of Lorium Law, said that the doctor took out a federal Small Business Administration loan during the pandemic and used it to open Coral Springs Med Spa at 993 N. University Drive. But, despite Nawabi’s efforts, the business wasn’t getting the revenue it needed .

“He’s probably one of the hardest working people I know,” Grant said. “He gave it everything he could to make it survive.”

The urgent care facility is permanently closed, and the med spa will also shutter its doors in the coming weeks, Grant added.

Broward County appraisers last valued the urgent care property at $819,660 — far from the amount Nawabi owes. If the foreclosure sale doesn’t cover this figure, a residential property the doctor included as collateral on the loan could also be sold.
