Another location of Fifth Third Bank is on the horizon in Coral Springs.

The Development Review Committee shared comments on the initial plan submitted by consultants of Fifth Third Bank overseeing the city’s approval process for the planned branch.

The location is 6208 W. Sample Road in the Coral Landings III shopping center near U.S. 441, in the same plaza as a Tijuana Flats, Aldi and Sonic Drive-In.

Documents for the May 4 committee meeting show developers plan to construct a new 1,892-square-foot building on one acre of vacant property from the ground up. The land alone is estimated to be worth $1,103,780, according to the Broward County Property Appraiser.

City staff provided feedback on the proposed site plan ranging from landscaping, accessibility, engineering and utilities.

The location will be the second branch in Coral Springs, with the other at 2525 N. University Drive.
