Popular kids’ consignment sale taking place in Coral Springs. Here’s what to know
The Just Between Friends fall event, featuring pre-loved children’s clothes, books, toys and other essentials, is being held at the Coral Springs Gymnasium from Thursday, Oct. 9, through Sunday, Oct. 12.
Started in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1997, Just Between Friends has since expanded to over 150 locations across North America.
The twice-annual pop-up event aims to support local parents and caregivers by creating a consignment-style marketplace for items their children have outgrown.
Each event also helps to keep tens of thousands of pounds of clothing and plastics out of area landfills, according to the company’s website.
Public shopping begins Thursday, Oct. 9. Each day has slightly different hours and specials, according to the local sale’s Facebook page.

Thursday, Oct. 9
- 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Get tickets for free here ahead of time or pay $5 at the door.
Friday, Oct. 10
- 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
- No ticket required
- Special: Buy three books, get one free
Saturday, Oct. 11
- 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- No ticket required
- Special: 25% off most items
- 4-9 p.m
- .Tickets required ($3 online, $5 at the door)
- Special: Half-price presale; parents shop free with teens
Sunday, Oct. 12
- 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
- No ticket required
- Special: 50% off most items
The Coral Springs Gymnasium is located at 2501 Coral Springs Dr.
According to the Just Between Friends website, each event also adds resources to local charities, as sellers can donate their unsold items to local charity partners. This includes adoption agencies, foster closets, refugee families and children’s literacy foundations.
