One in critical condition from Sample Road crash, closing road for hours, cops say
A two-car collision on Sample Road Friday morning sent two people to a hospital and shut down all westbound lanes for several hours, according to police and local news outlets.
Residents reported hearing helicopters in the area.
According to the Coral Springs Police Department, two people were hospitalized at Broward Health North because of the Oct. 10 accident, WPLG reported.
One is reportedly in critical condition, TAPinto Coral Springs shared from police.
The road was closed at the intersection with Rock Island Road, police said.
The identities of those involved and the cause of the crash have not been released.
