Through Dec. 15, Bissell Pet Foundation will once again sponsor all adoptions at Broward County Animal Care, meaning residents could go home with their new dog or cat for just $25.

This includes free vaccinations and a microchip. Cats and dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments are available for adoption.

View the shelter’s full lists of dogs and cats online, or visit in person from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m at their Fort Lauderdale location, 2400 SW 42nd Street.

Can’t commit to adoption? Broward County Animal Care also offers foster programs and volunteer opportunities, including dog walking with Broward Buddies.

Broward County Animal Care also provides a monthly low-cost clinic and veterinarian appointment options for pet owners to keep their animals healthy.
