South Florida residents and visitors are invited to join the Coral Springs Rotary Club and the Veterans Coalition of Coral Springs for an evening of fun — and fundraising — to bring a Vietnam War memorial to the region.

The Moving Wall, which has spent decades traveling across the country in memory of the American lives lost during the Vietnam War, will be displayed at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie from April 24 -26.

Coral Springs’ veterans are partnering with the neighboring city to make it happen. But, according to Coral Springs Rotary Club membership chair and board member Sal Golfo, members are still looking for backers to support their mission.

That need inspired Rotary Club volunteers to host an evening at Bowlero (8501 N. University Drive in Tamarac), which is set to take place on Wednesday, March 18.

A range of tickets are available, including:

  • $10 for children, including high school students
  • $20 for adults
  • $300 to sponsor a lane

Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. and includes bowling shoe rental and a $10 arcade card. Lanes open at 6 p.m. and close at 8 p.m.
