Check your numbers. A trip to a Walmart in Broward County turned into a jackpot lottery win of almost $110,000.
The winner bought their Fantasy 5 ticket for the Sunday, March 1, evening drawing at the Walmart liquor store at 3001 N. State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes, according to Florida Lottery records.
The winning numbers were 8-12-16-22-34, with the lucky ticket worth $108,640.74.
The winner beat the 1-in-376,992 odds of matching all five numbers.
There was no winner in the March 1 Fantasy 5 midday drawing.
Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.
