A Coral Springs middle school student’s story about years of sexual abuse has resulted in an arrest and felony charges.

Roland St. Brice, 50, is charged with four felonies, including molestation of a teenage minor and lewd and lascivious conduct.

When the victim spoke to police on June 1, she said that since August 2024 — when she was in sixth grade — St. Brice “has been inappropriately touching her on multiple occasions.”

She provided specific accounts of abuse, including at least two instances where he allegedly laid on top of her and engaged in inappropriate sexual contact.

The victim also told police that St. Brice forcibly kissed her on multiple occasions, despite verbal and physical resistance.

He also attempted to forcibly remove her pants at least twice, the victim told police, but he did not succeed.

Court records state that while giving her statement, the victim received numerous calls from St. Brice. The victim texted briefly with him before calling.

In their conversation, which was recorded by police, St. Brice admitted to kissing her on the mouth.

When brought in for questioning, St. Brice initially denied his recorded statement. Investigators wrote that after being shown the texts and phone call recording, he admitted to kissing the victim on the mouth and explained that “his wife does not know because she would not be happy that he does so.”

“The defendant admitted he was wrong for kissing the victim on her mouth,” police wrote.

Coral Springs police arrested St. Brice and transported him to the county jail for processing. His bail is set at $300,000.

Records show that he was being held at Paul Rein Detention Facility as of the last system update on June 2.
