World Cup final, farmers market and collectorfest: Your weekend in Coral Springs

Between the FIFA World Cup final and kids being out of school for the summer, Coral Springs will be busy this weekend.

For programming centered around mind and body wellness ranging from crafting to Pilates, check out Eagles’ Haven. Those looking for live music can find it at Lefty’s, Sharkey’s or the Coconut Creek Casino.

If you’re looking to beat the heat with the kids, you can also visit Cypress Water Park, or brave the heat and visit any of the city’s 49 parks during Parks and Recreation Month.

Here are some activities and ideas you can check out this weekend on Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19:

Saturday

Art Exhibit: ‘Across This Land: America at 250’

Check out the current multi-artist exhibit celebrating America’s 250th birthday at the Coral Springs Museum of Art during its Saturday hours between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. (closed Sunday). “Featuring works by artists working in a range of media, the exhibition highlights landscapes, environments and places that shape everyday experience — from open horizons and waterways to urban spaces and quiet, familiar ground,” according to the museum.

Martial Arts Tournament (9 a.m. to midnight)

Over 300 competitors are expected to spar at the HIT International Martial Arts Tournament at the Coral Springs Marriott and Hotel Convention Center. The event runs all day and into the evening starting at 9 a.m. and ending with an after party once the last matches have ended. Six to eight rings will be hosting matches throughout the day, culminating in a winner-take-all team battle with a $1,500 prize.

Sunday

Tamarac Community Farmers Market (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Buy some fresh produce, baked goods, honey and other standard farmers market wares at the weekly market at Tamarac Veterans Park. The event takes place every Sunday.

Coral Springs Collectorfest Summer 2026 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Enthusiasts of toys, games, comics and other collectibles can gather at the summer convention held by Florida Toy Shows Expo at the Marriott convention center. Admission costs $15 before noon and $10 after. Kids under 12 get in free.

FIFA World Cup watch parties

You can likely find the Argentina vs. Spain World Cup final at almost every restaurant and bar with a TV in South Florida on Sunday. Some ideas for local spots where you can catch the game include Patio Flamenco, El Mariachi Mexican & Spanish Restaurant, The Knife Argentine Steakhouse, Miller’s Ale House and Sharkey’s. Kickoff is at 3 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
