The New York Times bestselling author of “Population: 485” and “The Jesus Cow” is this week’s special guest for the Library Speakers’ Consortium. His work examines the experience of rural communities and the people in them, from the perspective of a registered nurse, podcast host, humorist, speaker, touring band member and volunteer firefighter.
