College prep for student-athletes (4:30 to 5:30 p.m.)

Coffee with the mayor and veterans (8:30 a.m.)

Mayor Scott Brook invites military veterans to join him for coffee during his office hours. Registration is preferred, but not necessary. Learn more and sign up on the city’s website.

National Library Week celebration at Northwest Regional Library (noon to 4 p.m.)

From noon to 2 p.m., head to the library to celebrate Customer Appreciation Day with a craft, cake and music. Then, from 2 to 4 p.m., librarians will host a free block party with more cake, plus a DJ, free book giveaway and kids’ crafts. Visit the library webpage to learn more.
