This weekend in Coral Springs, free outdoor activities take the lead as the city marks its first business expo, along with its annual community concert.
Plus, officials will celebrate the grand reopening of Turtle Run Park and Coconut Creek will host a dog-centered festival.
And, ahead of May 4, also known as Star Wars Day, community hubs such as the Northwest Regional Library and Guildhall Anime Game Lounge will host celebrations for fans of all ages.

Friday
Turtle Run Park reopening celebration (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

Coral Springs Community Concert and Business Expo (5:30 to 9:30 p.m.)
Enjoy a free concert on the City Hall lawn featuring Jamboree Latin Band and headliner FM Band Miami, plus roaming mariachi performers and interactive character entertainment. Food trucks, face painting, inflatable attractions, outdoor games, and arts and crafts for children will also be available.
