New halal restaurant to open on University Drive in Coral Springs. What to know
Fresh bagels aren’t the only New York City-inspired food coming soon to Coral Springs.
According to new signage at 2361 N. University Dr., a new halal restaurant is coming to town.
While the NYC Halal Eats franchise is heavily influenced by New York City, its roots are in Chicago, with most of its other locations in Indianapolis and Detroit. Dishes include classic platters, gyro, salads, burgers and Philly-style cheesesteaks.
Hot chicken enthusiasts can also find dishes there thanks to the brand’s partnership with Blazin’ Chicken Gyro, a halal restaurant based out of New York and New Jersey.
Interiors at other locations feature the franchise’s signature bold red and black, with grafitti-inspired decals and neon lightning along the walls.
NYC Halal Eats has not announced an opening date for its inaugural Florida location as of Jan. 21.
