Chicken lovers, rejoice. The Chick-fil-A location on University Drive in Coral Springs has finally re-opened after nearly five months of renovations.

The operators have been teasing a February re-opening date for weeks on social media but only announced the day before that the restaurant would be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12.

Anyone who dresses like a cow will receive one of three free entrees of their choice: an original Chick-fil-A sandwich, a spicy sandwich or an eight-count nugget meal.

The CFA at 1341 N. University Drive, next to a Mobil gas station, has been closed since September for renovations to the drive-thru, dining room and parking lot.

The company has stirred hype about the re-opening by offering free Chick-fil-A for a year to one winner and a basket of swag to another. Over a thousand people entered each contest.
