How Ya Dough’n teases April opening in Coral Springs — and free sourdough pizza
What started as pandemic-era backyard sourdough pizza drops in a Boca Raton country club community has grown into one of South Florida’s most-prized pizza brands — and it’s coming to Coral Springs.
How Ya Dough’n plans to open in the Cornerstone development at 3260 N. University Drive by the end of April, a spokesperson told the Coral Springs News on Monday, March 30.
Though owners Gabby and Garett Goodman have not decided on the date, one thing is for sure: Visitors will be able to snag a free slice of the company’s cult-favorite flavors.
Menu items include unique picks such as chicken tikka masala and pistachio, as well as classic tomato and cheese options. Prices usually range from $16 to $21 for a 12-inch pie to $20 to $28 for a 16-inch version.
Sourdough crust made with fermented wild yeast is another main attraction, adding a signature flair to each dish.
Garett Goodman, co-founder and CEO of How Ya Dough’n, also says that ingredient quality further elevates the pizza.
“Most pizzerias are serving 24-48-hour dough loaded with preservatives, greasy, processed cheese, and toppings — that’s what leaves you feeling heavy, bloated and sluggish,” he said in a news release.
“Our gourmet pies and Dough Boys — our twist on classic garlic knots — are made with natural ingredients and fermented longer, creating a crust that’s lighter, crispier and easier to digest. We often see customers grabbing a pie before or after yoga or pickleball because it’s that clean, that light and made with real, wholesome ingredients.”
How Ya Dougn’n currently has three South Florida locations, all in Palm Beach County: the flagship restaurant in Boca Raton’s Spanish River section, another in Boca Raton’s Palmetto neighborhood, and a third in Boynton Beach.
The company also has a location in Las Vegas, which was featured on “Best New Restaurants” and “Best Pizza” lists from Eater Vegas in early March.
Hiring is underway for the Coral Springs location. To learn more about open positions and apply, visit the How Ya Dough’n careers page or call 617-653-1405.
