Cornerstone is set to welcome yet another new tenant this year as Pilar Coffee Bar plans to open in one of the development’s first-floor commercial spaces in Coral Springs.

The brand says it aims to bring luxury into customers’ daily routines, with iced treats and coffee beans sourced from South America, as well as sandwiches and salads. Pilar also intends to be a gathering place for consumers by providing a calm, welcoming environment.

Pilar launched in Deerfield Beach in December 2024, and is rapidly expanding, with plans to open 11 additional locations in New York, Colorado and Florida by the end of 2027, according to its website.

“At Pilar, we’ve created more than just a coffee bar — we’ve built a space where people can connect, relax and feel at home,” said Rafael Romero, Director of Marketing, ahead of the Deerfield flagship launch. “With our franchise model, we’re excited to offer others the opportunity to share in our mission and bring Pilar to new communities.”

The brand is managed by Steve Giordanella’s ABC Franchise Group that is also responsible for I Heart Mac & Cheese, which has a location at Coral Springs’ University Place.

The company has not yet shared an opening date for the Coral Springs restaurant.
