Check your numbers. A South Florida lottery player is holding a ticket worth over $40,000.

The winning Fantasy 5 ticket was sold not far from Coral Springs at Tubby’s Liquor store at 6980 W. McNab Road in Tamarac, according to Florida Lottery results.

Fantasy 5 players have the option to choose their own five-digit combination of numbers ranging from one to 36 or have a computer do so. The Tamarac winner chose their own combination and correctly guessed the five winning numbers in the Nov. 29 evening drawing.

Three lottery players across Florida won big in the drawing that night and split the top prize, each of them making out with $40,244.40, records show. The other tickets were sold in Davenport and Stuart.

The winning numbers were 8-14-26-27-35.

Fantasy 5 drawings happen twice a day.
