A Coral Springs grandmother is missing amid the week’s cold snap, and police are asking for the public’s help to find her.
Leanise Demosthenes, 69, was last seen around 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, in the area of 12050 NW 56th St.
She is approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall and was wearing all black with black and white Adidas slides when she is believed to have gone missing.
Her case has been prioritized as ”missing and endangered,” which is reserved for those at increased risk of injury or death because of age or medical conditions.
This is the second time a search has taken place for Demosthenes, who temporarily went missing in Sunrise in July 2023.
