In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Coral Springs Police and Fire’s annual Touch-A-Truck event will return on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mullins Hall parking lot.

Neurodivergent residents and their families will have the opportunity to get an inside look at police, fire, EMS and public works vehicles and meet the people who work with them every day.

Sensory-friendly stations will also be available, including a booth where those with special needs and their caregivers can register for the Coral Springs Police Department’s Special Needs Database, which helps first responders provide specialized care during an emergency.

Learn more on the City of Coral Springs events page and Facebook.

Residents can also check out the city’s other programs for those with special needs online at coralsprings.gov/Residents/Our-Community/Special-Needs-Programs.
