Current and prospective public safety professionals are invited to a job fair and expo at the Coral Springs Gymnasium on April 21.

“The City of Coral Springs will host its 5th Annual Public Safety Job Fair & Expo, connecting job seekers with local and statewide agencies in law enforcement, fire rescue, EMS and communications,” the city’s public safety team shared. “Attendees can meet recruiters, explore career paths, and attend breakout sessions focused on hiring and career development.”

The Tuesday event, which is free to attend, features two discussion panels prior to the full job fair. Each presentation is held twice during separate time slots so attendees can sit in on both.

The first is a “Chat with the Chiefs” discussion with fire rescue chiefs from Fort Lauderdale, North Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines and the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department. The second is a “Hiring & Application Tips and Tricks” presentation with police officials from Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale.

The panels will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., followed by the regular job fair from 1 to 4 p.m.

Opportunities include roles in Broward County, Palm Beach County, Collier County, Lee County, Polk County, the Florida Department of Corrections, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and more. Over 40 agencies are sending representatives to the expo.

Attendees don’t need to register.
