A woman has been driving without a license for years, stacking up violations for over half a decade, according to Coral Springs police.

Now, 26-year-old Lauryn Santiago-Lopez faces multiple charges, including a third-degree felony.

On June 9, a Coral Springs officer noticed a familiar silver Nissan with an expired Indiana tag. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

When questioned, Santiago-Lopez was only able to produce a Florida identification card, and allegedly told the officer she was “working on” getting a license, registration and insurance, her arrest report says.

“It should be noted that we have a history with this vehicle and Lauryn since 2025,” an officer wrote in the report.

Santiago-Lopez has been to Broward County court nine times since 2019 over traffic violations, records show, and has had her license suspended 23 times, according to police.

She was arrested on charges of repeatedly driving with a suspended license and other crimes and was booked at Broward County jail, but has since made bail.
