Four tickets to split jackpot lottery prize. One was purchased in Broward County

A lottery player who purchased a ticket in Broward County hit the jackpot Thursday night in a drawing that produced four winners statewide.

The local player will split the approximate $116,000 prize from the July 2 Fantasy 5 evening drawing with three others, leaving each with $28,983 before taxes, according to the Florida Lottery.

The ticket came from the Cypress Bend Liquor store at 1000 S. Powerline Road in Pompano Beach. The other lucky tickets were sold in Inverness (Citrus County), Middleburg (Clay County) and Seffner (Hillsborough County).

The winning numbers were 3-17-26-29-31. The ticket holders beat the 1-in-376,992 odds of matching all five numbers to win the top prize.

Meanwhile, a ticket sold at a BJ’s Wholesale Club liquor store in Miami won almost $61,000 in Thursday’s Fantasy 5 midday drawing. The winning numbers were 1-4-5-10-23.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
