Coral Springs police received a call about a vehicle that crashed into a tree near the intersection of Wiles Road and Rock Island Road on Tuesday afternoon, according to dispatch logs.

Several officers responded to the scene July 7 after a woman reported that her car had crashed into a tree across from Coral Springs Fire Rescue Station #43.

Dispatchers said she believed she had injured her ankle but was able to exit the vehicle safely.

No other injuries or passengers were mentioned. The incident shut down one southbound lane.
