High school students are encouraged to participate in this open mic-style forum for students to bring the issues they care most about to local and state elected officials.

Author talk: On Writing Beloved Characters and Powerful Portrayals (7 to 8 p.m.)
Join local librarians for an online conversation with author Jason Reynolds to discuss his latest work, “Coach,” the final entry in his bestselling middle-grades “Track” series. He is also the author of “Miles Morales: Spider Man” and “Long Way Down,” and was recently named the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
