With plenty of festivities, it’s gearing up to be a busy weekend in Coral Springs.

Whether you’re looking for live music, cultural celebrations, or want to blow bubbles with Bluey, there’s something for you on our events list.

Looking to get out for a good cause? A crew of heavy-hitting rock cover bands will take over Sharkey’s Bar and Grill on Sunday, playing hits to benefit a cancer patient.

Hoping for something slower? The Coral Springs Museum of History will open its doors Saturday for an afternoon of exploring how public art has molded the city — and how it continues to do so to this day.

Here’s what’s happening in and around Coral Springs from Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31:

Friday

  • ReVibe (Lefty’s, 7 p.m.)
  • SOLFYER (Nectar at Coconut Creek Casino, 7 p.m.)
  • MixTape (Sharkey’s, 8 p.m.)

How to take care of kittens (1 to 2 p.m.)

The event will also feature live kittens that audience members can interact with, as well as foster and adoption programs available at the shelter. Learn more on the Northwest Regional Library events page.

Haitian Heritage Month celebration (1 to 3 p.m.)

Spoken word meets visual expression in this workshop, led by poet Mecca “Grimo” Marcelin. Visitors will listen to poetry, then transfer the emotions they feel onto canvas. Learn more and register to attend on the Northwest Regional Library events page.

Bluey Bubble Dance Party (2:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
