This weekend in Coral Springs, you can reinvigorate your body and mind with a wide range of adult-centered and family-friendly activities.

Curious residents and visitors of all ages have opportunities to learn about bugs, dinosaurs, conservation, local history and more.

Plus, get active with yoga and biking meetups in and around the city.

Here’s what’s happening from Friday, June 26, through Sunday, June 28, in and around Coral Springs:

Friday

Little Bug Workshop with Lettie the Bug Lady (1 to 2 p.m.)

Kids ages 5 to 10 and their caregivers can head to The Motherhood Village for a fun, interactive, hands-on experience examining insects and learning about the bug world. Tickets start at $12 per parent-child pair. Learn more and register on The Motherhood Village events page.

A Clown Paleontologist Adventure (10:30 to 11:30 a.m.)

Kids and families can join Cataplum the Clown for a prehistoric adventure around the Northwest Regional Library filled with movement games and interactive clues.

Dive Into Coral Springs History: Summer Fun & Community Pools (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Learn about over a century of aquatics in the U.S. and how swimming came to Coral Springs in this installment of the city’s monthly history museum tours and talks. Learn more on the city events page.

Cult wine tasting (1 to 2 p.m.)

Basser’s Fine Wine & Craft Beer on Coral Ridge Drive will host a free tasting of cult-favorite wines, including Hourglass, Hendry, Leviathan, Ridge and Aperture, while supplies last. Lean more on Facebook.

Silent Reading Party (1 to 3 p.m.)

Unplug, unwind and read your favorite book in a peaceful community setting. Stay for optional conversation and connection with fellow readers afterward and enjoy snacks and drinks from the host venue, Tribe Tea Lounge. Registration is recommended. Plastics, Pollution, and Parrotfish: How Innovation Can Lead to Unexpected Solutions (2 to 4 p.m.)

Kyle Pisano, a marine scientist, will visit the Coral Springs Museum of Art to discuss how innovation, science and daily choices can reduce pollution and revolutionize marine habitat restoration. Plus, check out visitor booths and an art exhibit featuring work by nature and conservation photographer Clyde Butcher — all for free. Registration is required. Sensory-friendly family play day (10 a.m. to noon)

Kids and their caregivers can enjoy a special morning of open play at The Motherhood Village, created for neurodivergent children. The fist 15 attendees get in free. Get more information and register to attend online.
