It’s a holiday weekend in Coral Springs, and that means more time with family and friends — not to mention classic July 4 fireworks and food.

Though many establishments are closed for America’s 250th birthday, there are still festive activities happening across the city — including a free, major celebration at Mullins Park and all-night dance party at JD’s Bar and Lounge.

Friday

Beyond Performing Arts camp presents ‘Aladdin’ (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.)

Rock ‘n’ Roll BBQ Party (5 to 9 p.m.)

City of Coral Springs Fourth of July celebration (4 to 9:30 p.m.)
