A Coral Springs favorite spot for sweet treats is now open again after a rebrand — and with fresh menu items to try.

Cookie Head officially opened its doors on Saturday, March 28, part of a string of grand reopenings across South Florida. These come after locally-owned and operated Cookiehead Bakery joined Blueprint Cookies, which rebranded to become Cookie Head.

Fans queued up in a long line that stretched down the plaza for the reopening.

Gary and Margie Schwartzberg opened the original Cookiehead Bakery on the southeast corner of University Drive and Wiles Road in Coral Springs in January 2023. Gary Schwartzberg is also the founder of longtime regional favorite Bagelmania, which he established in 1978. Both spots were known for their warm, playful atmosphere and New York roots.

The new brand will feature a variety of baked goods, soft-serve ice cream, milkshakes and coffee, including gluten-free and vegan options. Locations span across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Dubai.

The Coral Springs location is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
