Lottery ticket worth almost $60,000 sold in Broward County. Was it yours?

Check your numbers: A stop at a Broward County store led to a nearly $60,000 prize for a lottery player.

The winner hit the jackpot in the Friday, June 12, Fantasy 5 evening drawing, matching all five numbers to win $59,227.82, Florida Lottery results show.

The ticket was sold at the Star Seven Food Store at 2996 NW 55th Ave. in Lauderhill, and the winning numbers were 2-21-22-24-25.

The winner used the Quick Pick option and had the computer terminal randomly generate five numbers. The player matched all five, beating out the 1-in-376,992 odds of winning the jackpot prize.

The Lauderhill winner split the approximately $120,000 jackpot with a player whose ticket came from a Publix in Indian Harbor Beach, a coastal city in Brevard County.

It’s the fourth time in nine days a Broward player hit a Fantasy 5 windfall, joining winners in Pembroke Pines, Sunrise and Coral Springs.

Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
