It’s shaping up to be a busy weekend in Coral Springs, with events, workshops and workouts for all to enjoy.

In somber celebration of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the city will host a free cattle car and World War II artifact viewing experience.

Residents will also have opportunities to gain knowledge on a range of other topics, including emergency response, tarot card reading and the city’s history.

Plus, find chances to get your taxes filed for free, give back to the community, experience national talents and more — all in and around/ Coral Springs.

Here’s what’s happening from Friday, Jan. 30, to Sunday, Feb. 1:

Friday

Holocaust remembrance exhibit (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

This exhibit, which was displayed in Coconut Creek earlier in the week, offers visitors the opportunity to interact with a replica of a World War II-era cattle car and view historical artifacts from the Holocaust. Free, timed tickets are still available for a few afternoon time slots. Learn more on the city events page.

Free Tai Chi class (12:30 to 1:30 p.m.)

Join instructor Sabrina Zhang for this exercise class at the Northwest Regional Library, aimed at helping maintain strength, flexibility and balance. Registration is required. Learn more on the library events page.

Movie matinee and online discussion (3 to 4 p.m.)

Join fellow movie enthusiasts and Professor Tas Salini, instructor of Film History and Film Appreciation at Broward College, to view “The Truman Show,” following a man unknowingly living his entire life on a colossal soundstage. A New Chapter teen book club (4 to 4:40 p.m.)

CERT orientation and basic training (8 a.m. to noon)

The Coral Springs Parkland Community Education and Response Team (CERT) is hosting a one-hour webinar to educate the public on life-saving strategies, including disaster preparedness, fire safety, light search and rescue, triage and more. Learn more on the city events page.

Keep Coral Springs Beautiful cleanup (9 a.m.)

The City of Coral Springs is inviting residents ages 14 and older to help beautify local parks and playgrounds — and be rewarded with a lunch, raffle prizes and volunteer hours available for those who complete the project. Tour the Coral Springs Museum of History (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Step into Coral Springs’ past with a free, interactive tour at the local history hub for longtime residents, newcomers and history enthusiasts alike. The afternoon will include a guided walk through exhibits showcasing the city’s early days, including rare photographs, artifacts and stories from the city’s founders, followed by discussions on the city’s transformation from farmland to the community it is today. Get free help filing your income taxes (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Taxpayers with less than $75,000 in annual household income can head to the Northwest Regional Library for no-cost tax preparation services from Broward Tax Pro (VITA). Parkland Farmers’ Market (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

The Parkland Farmers’ Market, located at the city’s Equestrian Center, will open Black History Month with a cultural awarness and inclusion theme to its biweekly market know for its locally grown and artisan items. Cedric the Entertainer, the award-winning producer, director, actor, comedian and author, returns to his stand-up comedy roots with his new tour, titled “Love and Laughter.” Tickets are still available, starting at $104. Aaron Lewis and the Stateliners (8 p.m.)

South Florida Muslim Federation annual conference

The regional network for Muslim businesses, nonprofits and individuals will hold its annual conference at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts on Friday and Saturday. The event has been subject to scrutiny in recent days, including threats from Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, but is set to continue. The conference’s schedule includes sessions on finances, mental health, professional networking and preparing for Ramadaan. Keynote talks will feature the conference’s overall theme of hope. Sun and Surf gymnastics invitational
