Looking for something to do this weekend? We’ve got you covered.

The city is quieter than usual this double-holiday weekend, with Juneteenth on Friday and Father’s Day on Sunday. But you can still catch live music, group fitness and arts events every day.

Here’s what’s happening from Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21, in and around Coral Springs:

Friday

Head to Tamarac’s Sports Complex for live music, spoken word poetry, dance performances, a Black-owned market and food trucks celebrating African-American and Caribbean culture. Plus, check out community resource tables and a kids’ zone with arts and crafts, face painting and more. Learn more on the City of Tamarac events page.

City of Coral Springs Juneteenth Celebration (5:30 to 7:30 p.m.)

The Coral Springs Museum of Art will host its free, family-friendly celebration of African-Americans’ freedom from slavery in the museum’s lobby. Live entertainment and light bites will be available for all attendees — learn more in our full article and on the official event page.
