A new restaurant inspired by a trip to Napa and global cuisines, Ember and Vine, has announced a planned opening for July in Coral Springs.

The restaurant, brought by the couple behind Dear Olivia and Eddie and Vinny’s, will replace the former longstanding Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar & Tapas. It will be located a few doors down from the Publix in the Sawgrass Center on Coral Ridge Drive by Heron Bay.

Eddie and Christina Pozzuoli own P Hospitality Management, whose portfolio includes Prezzo Boca Raton, Prezzo Palm Beach Gardens, Corvina Seafood Grill, Eddie and Vinny’s in Coral Springs, Dear Olivia, and Amante’s Italian Restaurant.

“Ember & Vine is an all-day, globally inspired restaurant focused on vibrant ingredients, thoughtful cooking, and genuine hospitality,” Gabrielle Favitta, P Hospitality’s Director of Marketing & Public Relations, told the Coral Springs News in an email.

“We chose this location because we felt like there was room in the Coral Springs and Parkland area for an all-day restaurant that could become part of people’s routines, not just a special occasion spot.”

The restaurant will feature globally inspired dishes free of refined sugar and seed oils, sourcing fresh, seasonal ingredients. The owners are looking to make an inviting and polished space that doesn’t feel “stiff.”

Eddie Pozzuoli told the South Florida Sun Sentinel that a trip to Napa had them wondering, “‘How cool would it be to transport this feeling home, but without making it feel pretentious?’”

“So we wanted quick late breakfasts for parents after dropping off their kids at school, or a light lunch, and then as sunset comes, it turns into a candlelit, romantic nighttime vibe with wine,” he told the publication. “That’s what Napa tasted like to us.”

Ember and Vine will also be partnering with Coral Springs-based 360F Coffee Roasters for its coffee, citing the importance of working with other local businesses when possible.

“The idea behind Ember & Vine is really about creating a place made to gather,” Favitta said. “We wanted something warm and comfortable, but still elevated — the kind of place where you can come for coffee, have a long lunch, meet for cocktails, enjoy dinner with family, or stay two hours longer than you planned.”

P Hospitality’s other recent venture, Dear Olivia in Parkland, co-created with Paul Greenberg, became popular after it took over the former site of Deja Blue on Trails End and University Drive.

The restaurant joins a slate of several new eateries opening in the shopping plaza on Coral Ridge Drive, including a Wingstop, Pummarola Pizzeria and Long Island Bagel Cafe.
