Heat and rain in the forecast are no match for the variety of activities available for Coral Springs residents and visitors this weekend.

There are opportunities to learn about the city, region and nation we call home with a city-led historical tour. Or check out talks on indigenous history and wildlife photography, and a guided hike through one of Coral Springs’ most biodiverse landscapes.

Plus, new acts take the stage at bar and restaurant staples.

Here’s what’s happening from Friday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14, in and around Coral Springs:

Friday

Historical bus tour (10 a.m. to noon)

Step aboard for a journey through time and discover Coral Springs’ story. Beginning with a guided visit to the history museum, guests will explore artifacts highlighting the city’s transformation from green bean fields into a sprawling master-planned community. Participants will then embark on a bus tour featuring some of the city’s key landmarks and learn about early development, community traditions, parks, public safety, arts and the people who helped shape Coral Springs. Learn more and save a seat on the city events page. Registration is required.
